This project was funded by John Grisham (no, he's not a novelist) in San Jose, CA. He wanted one with an external PS. The power supply is basically the same as the one I built for Glenn. It will have choke input and a voltage divider network at the output of the B+ to keep the filament floated above the ground to minimize hum and noise and to keep the heater to cathode voltage on the 6sn7 follower below maximum limit.
