JE Labs Standalone Phono Preamp

Built this one on order by Glenn Bastian, a returning customer. What attracted me to this project is the fact that design uses a very solid power supply, one that is good enough to drive a hefty class A single ended amp. It has choke input followed by two CRC network. The heaters are well regulated via DC conversion followed by CRC network also. I built as per JE Labs' schematic, except I chose to use a 2.2k resistor bypassed with 100uF/100VDC cap instead of using a rechargeable battery. It's a very good sounding unit. There is a plenty warmth and detail. Very musical!
