Tube Audio Lab Full Function Preamp

Adapted from the JE Labs FF preamp circuit

6J5 coupled to 76 for linestage, 6SL7 for phonostage

Here is my flagship full function preamp based on the JE Labs FF preamp circuit. The preamp uses the 6J5 in lieu of the 6SN7 for the linestage per the original circuit. The preamp is built using all ASC oil caps for the power supply/filter stage. The sound is amazingly smooth, pronouncedly more so than the conventional JE Labs FF preampthat I built for myself. Mine uses the 6SN7 and all electrolytic caps. I am not sure which is the contributing factor to the smoothness, the oil caps or the 6J5 driver, but one thing is certain; I like what I am hearing and I will start offering TAL FF preamps as my flagship preamp.
